Born and raised in Mexico, I came to the United States at a young age. I was raised between Arizona and California as, due to work, we traveled a lot with my mom. Before moving to Las Vegas I worked as a Rehabilitation Technician and later as a Rehabilitation Counselor’s Assistant for Carranco-Chew Vocational Services in Santa Maria, California. I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in April of 1993. Although the heat was record high the year, as soon as I passed my first Vegas summer, I felt like I was home. My first job in Las Vegas was as a paralegal; a job I did for more than 25 years. I became a Real Estate Agent in 2006 and I juggled both careers for years as I fell in love with both and it was hard to decide which one I loved more. I ended up choosing real estate and am very happy with my decision.
My duties as a real estate agent are to act as intermediary between buyers, sellers, loan officers and title companies, conduct interview of new clients, discuss needs of purchase or sale of a transaction, accompany clients to property site, draw purchase and/or listing contract, communicate offers to client, negotiate the purchase, sales and rental of properties, insure that monies are deposited on a timely manner, communicate with title company, loan officers and clients to insure a smooth transaction for all parties. My main job though, is to make sure that my clients get the best of what they are looking for and, sometimes this means letting my clients know that the property they fell in love with might not be the right one for them as it might have defects that can go unnoticed to someone with less experience, for example, a first time buyer who does not know what they should be looking for.
