Maria Visoky

My name is Maria Victoria “Campita” Visoky, I came from a military family. My father was a former Chief of Police in my hometown, Labo, Camarines Norte, Philippines. My brother, my son, and husband served in the military as well. In 2004, I became a realtor. I got my broker’s license in 2008 and opened my own brokerage named “Silver City Realty” in the same year. How I got the name Silver City Realty?,., the first thing that came to my mind was to name my brokerage after my favorite city, the city of Las Vegas. Nevada is referred to as a “Silver State”, Las Vegas is a city of the Silver State, hhmm….I got the message, I told myself, this is it, my brokerage will be named “Silver City Realty”. In 2007 I decided to continue my studies. I told myself, it’s not too late; I have to achieve my “American Dream” to have a degree. I shifted my course from Hospitality Administration to Paralegal studies. I became a scholar of the GLVAR for a short period of time during the great time when the real estate market was at its highest peak. I graduated in Paralegal studies with honors. In January 2020 during the pandemic, I decided to pursue my bachelors degree relating to legal studies with Purdue University Global. Through hard work and dedication, in November 2022, I graduated with the degree in Legal Support Services and was nominated by my alumni, Purdue University to become a member of the NSLS, the largest national honor society in America. Not done yet with studying, I am planning on taking my master's degree in Legal Studies or JD in same school, Purdue University Global Law School. To dream is free, and dreams do come true!
