The Seattle native learned about hard work, dedication and cooperation as a high school athlete, excelling in baseball, football and soccer. He was offered three athletic scholarships and was recruited to play football at the Naval Academy. However, his true passion was business, which eventually developed into a love and admiration for real estate. Klinge earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an impressive 3.7 GPA at the University of Washington, one of the top-ranked business schools in the country. He was involved in the early days of the Pacific Northwest tech boom as part of a computer business, but became attracted to the weather and lifestyle of the Sun Belt. Klinge joined an international consumer products company and with the same drive and dedication that made him a success in school, earned awards in sales and marketing in the Southwest as a top performer in his division. While excelling in various managerial capacities, Klinge began to feel the pull of the real estate industry — following his tested rule of business: buy low and sell high.
