Michael Gonyea

Mike likes to help people. Born in Los Angeles, California @ UCLA Medical Center. Moved to Sparks, Nevada @ age 9 and moved to Whitehall, NY @ age 10. Moved to Granville, NY that same year and graduated from Granville High School in 1978. Lettered in Baseball, Football and Basketball. Spent his college freshman year @ Miami Dade Community College South Campus hoping to pursue a professional baseball career. Transferred to Springfield College in Springfield, MA as a sophomore. Played one year of Varsity Basketball as a walk-on. Graduated in 1982 with a B.S. degree in Health and Fitness with a concentration in Business. Worked in Hawaii as a fitness trainer @ the exclusive Honolulu Club. Taught school as a full time substitute teacher and coached athletics in the Washington County School District of Upstate New York. Joined the United States Air Force in 1985. Married his longtime high school sweetheart Tammy in June of 1985. Earned an A.S. degree in Electronic Systems Technology. Served overseas in Turkey for 2 years. Completed his 4-year enlistment in the Air Force in 1989. Worked @ the exclusive Green Valley Athletic Club in Henderson, Nevada from 1989 to 1991. Earned a Real Estate Salesman License in Nevada in 1991. Worked in Las Vegas for Century 21, Coldwell Banker, ReMax, and T&M Group Realty. Opened Mike Gonyea Real Estate in January of 1998.
