Phillip Payne

Born and raised in the city of Las Vegas, Phillip “Phil” Payne is no stranger to exceeding expectations in a city of high profiles and bright lights. As a former standout wide receiver at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), Phil became UNLV’s all-time record holder in touchdown receptions in a short amount of time. Phil graduated from UNLV, after a brief time in the NFL, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, minoring in Business Administration, and subsequently went on to continue working as an educator, mentor, and coach in the greater Las Vegas area with the Clark County School District and City of Las Vegas respectively. Phil’s experience has not only brought out a true love and compassion for his community, but a desire to show those around him how excellence can be obtained through ambition and a strong work ethic.
