Sara Longhurst

Sara Longhurst's roots originated on the East Coast in Rhode Island although she came to Las Vegas in 2000 after growing up in sunny Ventura, California. Sara recognized the business and personal opportunities here in Las Vegas and quickly decided to make it her home. She started her real estate career while attending college and graduated from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2005. Shortly after graduating, she became the office manager of a top producing team with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Nevada Properties and spent nearly a decade ensuring all the real estate transactions flowed as smoothly as possible and assisting the team of 12 agents with their daily business. In 2009, Sara became a licensed REALTOR and took over the short sale division for the team in addition to her administrative duties and successfully helped to negotiate dozens of short sales for their customers annually. In July of 2013, Sara and her husband welcomed their baby girl into the world and she has loved every second of being a mother. In 2014, Sara took a break from real estate administration and sold real estate exclusively for about a year while caring for her young daughter. In late 2015, she returned to her true passion of real estate administration joining The Gilbert Team at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Nevada Properties as both a REALTOR and their virtual Transaction Manager granting her the flexibility to spend as much time as possible at home with her young daughter while still maintaining a career she loves. In her free time, Sara enjoys volunteering at her daughter's school. As a sports fanatic, one of her greatest passions is football and as a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, she still misses seeing Brett Favre on the field every Sunday.
